When rating a lead using our star rating system, we suggest waiting until you get an initial response from a prospect, and then rating them based on your instinct as to the strength of the lead as a business prospect using the guide below:

1* = Essentially there is a 0% chance this person will become business for you (language barrier, rude reception, etc)

2* = Not interested, but gives you permission to provide market updates periodically

3* = Not interested now, but expresses potential future interest

4* = Expresses some interest, but not entirely clear on timeline

5* = Interviewing agents
